Summer Lovin'

The hardest part about taking a trip to Huntington is eventually having to come back to P-town. But will that always be the case? Maybe not. Only 5 more months until we gather our belongings and move elsewhere... back to Orange County? Only time will tell. All we know for sure is that the past week at the beach was a blast.
Fair parking $5. Fair entrance $8. Carny games $15. An 8 ticket ride $4. A deep fried twinkie that will most likely stop your heart from beating... priceless. (don't worry, we did not really eat one)

They should have called this ride... "The ride that last a minute too long and gives you an amazing headache."

Seth told us about this awesome place in town that serves coconut french toast for breakfast. Anybody who knows Natalie, knows that all you have to say is coconut and breakfast in the same sentence and Nat is all about it. Well turns out that the Hawaiian cafe didn't really have coconut french toast like Seth promised... it was just a trick to get us to come to breakfast. Grrr.

A friendly game of football on the beach... minus the friendly. Forth and one...to kick or to stick, that is the question.

Beck loves his cousins... but sometimes just needs a little mama in his life. (Nat loves this one because Beck is reaching for her) :)

4th of July.

Well this year's 4th of July celebration was a joyous occasion. We slept in, ate Mexican food in celebration of the fact that we don't have to live in Mexico to enjoy delicious Mexican food, and we taught Beck how to safely light a firework.

Wendy and Abram introduced us to the best place in Provo to watch Stadium of Fire. We camped out on the lawn behind the BYU visitors center (where Abram works). It was perfect, not many people, a beautiful lawn, comfy blankets, and it was on a hill with a perfect view of the stadium.

I decided it is impossible to take a good picture of a firework. The camera makes them look pretty wimpy. The show was quite impressive though, over 35 min of amazing high-budget fireworks.

Beck was fascinated. Here he was trying to figure out how much potassium perchlorate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, and dextrin the engineers must of used to produce such a vibrant blue.

Fireworks 101: The Sparkler.

Wendy, Abram and Sam joined us to watch the show.

Who knew Abram liked sparklers so much?
